This diamond tipped scriber is sturdy, yet lightweight and will permanently mark virtually any hard surfaces, including hard metals such as stainless steel, silicon, stone, and plastics, but we find it is best used to write and lightly engrave fine lines on to glass. 

Suited to a wide range of industrial and laboratory use for marking glass slides and flasks, but also ideal for glass engraving stipple work and for all glass artists to sign their work with. 

The natural diamond tip has a fine point with a 60° angle which is vacuum bonded to a steel tip shaft and set into an anodised aluminum handle. The hexagonal design prevents the scriber from rolling off your work surface. 

Hold the diamond scribe pen as you would a pen or pencil.
