Tips & Tricks of Using G-S Hypo Cement Glue
- Flatten the tube as you use it up rather than rolling it
- On first use, you may not need to squeeze the tube, the glue will most probably come out by itself
- Insert cap wire when not in use to prevent it from drying out
- Clean the needle-point area with rubbing alcohol before closing the cap
- Complete instructions are included in the box
Helpful Note 1: Retains some flexibility, won't crack or become brittle and is therefore great for sealing the ends of silk, satin and leather cords in beadwork.
Helpful Note 2: Will adhere metal to metal, plastic to metal, plastic to plastic, ceramic to ceramic, ceramic to metal....and so on.
Helpful Note 3: Make sure the areas you are bonding are free and clean of dirt and grease (Rodico is ideal for removing all traces of grease and dirt).
Helpful Note 4: Not intended to bond large surface areas together. Ideal for small cabochons, rhinestones, pearls and small beads in jewellery work.
Helpful Note 5: When you've applied the cement glue to the required areas, stop the flow by placing the applicator onto some tissue or an alcohol-soaked sponge (the small artists or make-up sponges are very useful for this) before replacing the cap wire. This way, you'll be wasting none of the precious cement glue.
