6mm Tungsten Carbide Flame Burr – 2.35mm Shank
Eternal Tools
SKU:6TCB235FL
- 6mm flame-shaped tungsten carbide cutting head
- 2.35mm (3/32") shank for compatible rotary tools and flex shafts
- Double-cut flutes for controlled, efficient material removal
- Ideal for curved edges, fillets, profiled contours and confined areas
- Suitable for steel, stainless steel, cast iron and other hard metals
- 50mm overall length
This 6mm flame-shaped tungsten carbide burr combines a broader curved body with a gradually tapered, rounded tip. This makes it particularly useful for shaping and blending curves, radii, fillets and profiled surfaces.
The tapered end can reach into narrower or confined areas, while the fuller section of the head allows more material to be removed from broader curved surfaces.
Its 2.35mm (3/32") shank is suitable for compatible Dremel and hobby rotary tools, micromotors and flexible shaft systems fitted with the correct collet or adjustable chuck.

Description
Description
What is a flame burr used for?
The flame profile is particularly useful for:
- Shaping and blending curved or profiled surfaces
- Working around internal radii and rounded corners
- Smoothing and refining fillet welds
- Blending transitions between adjoining surfaces
- Deburring curved edges and irregular openings
- Working inside confined or difficult-to-reach contours
- Controlled shaping with both the rounded tip and fuller sides
Double-cut flutes
The crossed double-cut flute pattern divides the removed material into smaller chips, providing controlled cutting and efficient material removal on harder metals.
Suitable materials
- Mild and hardened steels
- Stainless steel
- Cast iron and cast steel
- Nickel-based alloys
- Titanium and other hard metals
For aluminium, copper, brass and other softer non-ferrous metals, an open-fluted burr specifically designed for non-ferrous materials may resist clogging more effectively.
Will it fit my rotary tool?
This burr has a 2.35mm (3/32") shank. It can be used in Dremel and similar rotary tools fitted with a suitable 2.35mm collet or adjustable chuck. It is also compatible with many micromotors, pendant motors and flexible shaft systems that accept 2.35mm accessories.
If using a Dremel, an adjustable Dremel Multi-Chuck is usually the most convenient option.
How to use
- Secure the shank firmly and as deeply as practical inside the collet or chuck.
- Start the rotary tool before bringing the burr into contact with the workpiece.
- Use light, controlled movements and allow the flutes to cut.
- Keep the burr moving smoothly when blending curved surfaces.
- Do not force, lever or twist the burr sideways.
- Wear suitable eye protection.
Tungsten carbide is extremely hard but can be brittle. Excessive pressure, impacts, chatter or sideways leverage may damage the cutting head or shank.
