Repair of a carriage clock wheel by dovetailing a new tooth in using a diamond slitting disc from Eternal Tools

By using a 22mm x 0.17mm diamond slitting disc he was able to shape the new tooth, et voila! the carriage clock wheel is as good as new.

Using a combination of two small diamond files, one 900 grit square and the other 600 grit flat, the finish was complete.
